I think I have to add a disclaimer, for fear I have misrepresented myself. I probably would not actually EAT that cheese--sheepish grin. I'm a little blue-cheese phobic. But it looks simply elegant. It looks like something I would eat with fervor . . . if I would dare try it.

I am not a gourmet cook. I love when you post pictures of your beautiful creations.

I am a cheese fiend (as in a little too enthusiastic about cheese, not as in a monster). Gorgonzola blue cheese is one of my favorites, but I know a lot of people who don't care for it.
As I've said before, I like good food way too much.

Emily, you are so nice. I, on the other hand, am such a poser.

I like many cheeses . . . as long as they are not blue or stinky. Gouda is my favorite. I don't treat myself to it very often . . . something I will change someday. I think I would say I also like good foods . . . AND I am very comfortable eating mediocre foods, because that is all I can figure out how to cook so far. :)

No name calling, Martha! :)

I LOVE brie cheese with a slice of pear on a sesame cracker. That is my idea of a little piece of paradise.

Ummm... that and spending time with my children, of course.

I love Brie cheese too. Brad's high school friend, Randal, owns The Painted Pony in St. George. We were there in March and had an appetizer that was melted Brie on toasted baguette slices with roasted garlic spread and blueberry jam. It sounds unorthodox (it is), but it was soooo delicious. I recreate it at home and am in heaven when I do. I think those around me are in hell though b/c I REEK of garlic.

Kel,
the painted pony is so good. Randal's wife Nikki works there as well. Randal is the chef as well as the owner. Anyway, you should tell them that you know Brad. Their menu is heavenly.
